I am very happy that you have joined (or you are considering joining) the H&W Service Team. We have a great vision for our ministry and it involves cleansing and preserving our bodies as a Temple (House of God) where the Holy Spirit resides. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
I became interested doing something to improve my health after attending a detox seminar led by Dr. Masoud and Ruth a few months ago. Since implementing a semi-raw foods diet and eliminating dairy products, I have experienced very promising results in my health. My joint pain has disappeared. I can bend my knees more easily, my asthma condition has improved and I have lost some weight. I look forward to even better results as I began including fresh squeezed vegetable juices in my diet. (I have a juicer . . . just haven’t gotten around to pulling it out and using it – but I will!)
Fitness through the Movement of Chi
You are all invited to join us for Tai Chi exercises at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. (Check the calendar for dates.) This class is designed for all ages and abilities for anyone who wants to maintain good health without fear of injury. These exercises can lead to increased flexibility, muscle tone, breathing and circulation. When working with Chi, a sense of well-being, relaxation and aliveness is often felt.
As we embark on this journey of spiritual/mental/physical well being, “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being.” (Ephesians 3:16)
